The Governmentality of Online Gambling in Quebec

I had several roles with the JR Team, which included filming the first Pleasure Consuming Games Workshop, conducting research into the slot machine industry, and developing a report on the eSports scene in Quebec. I also coordinated a research group to conduct a literature review, and an ethnographic study, examining the governmentality of online gambling in Quebec. Our fieldwork formed the basis of a publication in the Canadian Journal of Law and Society (2021), which I co-authored. Since then, I have worked on various research projects for community groups (la Table de concertation des organismes au service des personnes réfugiées et immigrantes, TCRI) and universities (Université du Québec à Rimouski, UQAR). I am now working on a collaborative project with UQAR and the Universidad Nacional San Antonio Abad del Cusco exploring knowledge exchange through artistic practices about Covid-19 prevention and health promotion in collaboration with indigenous communities. I am also a multidisciplinary artist and hypnotherapist (www.anseauxrecits.xyz).
